• The Gathered Skirt

Hi everyone. It’s been a while. I hope you are keeping well and you doing more of those little or not so little things that make you happy during this pandemic. We are a second national lockdown here in the UK, I feel like we kind of know what to expect. I am well. Family is well and healthy.

Anyhow, I wanted to come on here to say hello. If I am not here, you can find me on instagram. As I had a bit of time on my hands, I have been tasting the waters of you tube. There is a new video today of this pretty skirt I’m wearing. I will show you how to pattern cut and sew it. Hope you check it out.

Thank you for stopping by, x L.

    NewLook 6446

Hallo ladies!  Hope you are all doing well. I had some time off work, decided to spend some time in Germany with family and also had a catch up with friends and former colleagues. Back to work in London and its freezing, can’t believe we are almost approaching the festive season (yay). Today I am sharing this New look 6446( view C) which is actually is jumpsuit but I left out the bodice, instead was tempted to make these wide leg pants. I loved that the pattern is an easy sew. I will definitely be making the other views in the spring.

    Issa cold and windy day

    Have a blessed week. x

Hi guys! Wishing you all a wonderful wednesday. A maxi skirt is one of those pieces that  should be a staple in every woman’s wardrobe. Its been on my sewing list before I even started sewing (is that actually a thing?). Its simple, fuss free and I see myself pairing it with a classic white T or shirt stacked in for the warmer months. For autumn, I will be layering to keep warm if you know me, I can not stand the cold. Honestly there’s endless ways to style a maxi skirt, experiment basically. I used the freehand cutting method for make this. Hope you all have a lovely week.
